§ 01 · Our story
Modern archaeology, grounded in the North East.
We are a North East based archaeological contractor offering heritage solutions to the building and construction industry. Our specialism is fieldwork — trial trench evaluation, strip, map and sample excavation, and watching briefs — backed by the Written Schemes of Investigation that keep every project compliant.
Development and archaeology don't have to be at odds. Handled well, archaeological work removes uncertainty from a scheme early, protects the programme, and tells the story of a place before the ground is changed forever.
That's the balance we exist to strike: rigorous, standards-led work that respects the past while keeping your project moving.
